About Goodstart Gympie - Childcare Centre in Gympie
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Gympie is situated behind the church on Duke Street five minutes from town; close to local schools and shops as well as main roads. We provide care for all children from six weeks old to five years old. We also provide before and after school care services. Our rooms are large, roomy and we have air conditioning throughout. The room décor is tailored to be age appropriate for the ages of the children and they are set up to be stimulating and welcoming, offering a sense of belonging.
Our educators are qualified and hold current Blue Cards, First Aid Qualification and are offered regular upskilling to provide higher quality care for children based on regular research and lifting standards for quality practices. We use the Circle of Security model to ensure that all children feel safe, build strong resilience, enriching and encouraging their ability to explore and learn with support, guidance and acceptance. Our weekly programs foster learning outcomes based on the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and our centre philosophy and our service vision. We offer a Kindergarten program which is run five full days per week and is central to building preparation through a prep readiness program based on the Queensland Kindergarten Curriculum Learning Guidelines.
We align with our local schools to attend regular school experiences to familiarize our children into the school atmosphere. Our program is run by a passionate and dedicated qualified teacher who has her Masters Degree in education, specializing in Early Childhood Education. Our service is rich in resources and equipment for the development of the children’s learning through Physical, Cognitive, Music and Movement, Language, Self Help Skills, Social and Emotional development.
