I was aware that things had been stolen from the beach in this way for many years now. But a bit of info that RACQ would definitely be aware of, but maybe not your readers. Quite a number of years ago I bought a BMW, a 1999 E46 Model. Sure they supplied me with the keys that had all the bells a whistles on them, and so they should as the vehicle cost a mint. But they also supplied me a thin all plastic key that only opened the doors, no bells a whistles. Lock your keys in you car, maybe plastic key in togs or pocket if possible and go for a dip. if you leave anything on the beach it could be taken, but maybe not your car if it had the little ole plastic type key from 1999 or earlier.By Em Madcel Gaxlano, July 11, 2020
